“‘In the beginning [needs citation] there was oblivion eternal. Also, of course, there was not. An eternity which is implicitly oblivious to both, to either and to neither of these truths naturally allows into being everything else and so it is that everything else came to be. Absolutely everything right up to and including absolutely nothing. Oblivion had become Himself anew and become Eternity Herself anew too – proper nouns now, complete with all (and none) of the limitation required for such things. Twins of elemental origin; the Amness.
Of Amness all was Potential. Into being came Thought and so always had it been. The Initial Cognizance; The forth-bringing.’
~It is well to note that Thought is of the forth-bringing and the brought-forth both, a trait in which it stands alone of all fore-bearers.”
Drearily, Jem made the note. Perhaps she would get it later.
“‘Forged of the forth-bringing, the spiralling of Space and Time was here-then and now-there underway. By existing existence secured itself and so Thought and Potential existed. Potential, all and none, divided to become both Potential and Reality, each all and each none – as even now it is only when potential is realized that the script of Creation is added to the One-verse. A relative continuum; The brought-forth.’ – Csmp. Bunkerboon.
~The nature in which Space and Time are spirally locked I expand upon in chapter four, pgs 227-254. It is here we see our first evidence of the elemembiblio.”
‘Eh-lem-ble below.’ Jem felt extremely heavy and felt also that she floated. Her studies blurred and ebbed away as she gently nodded nearer to her dreams. Outsider girl Jemmani Green achieves perfect initiate results and is welcomed into the Divinaty thao-Seyl with the highest honours… Her head hit the open page and she sat upright. Still heavily afloat, Jem’s eyes were now open yet unseeing as she sank upon the edge of her chair. She stands amidst the sprawling dunes to meet the coming storm. Pale sand whips around her in the gathering winds. The skybrew swirls, dark shades of blue and grey grow deeper as the storm draws fast –
Once again Jem’s head hit the book which lay open on the desk in front of her. ‘Butt-muck.’ She looked around to make sure no-one had heard her. Swearing was quite out of character for Jem and surely against the rules. Reality was settling back in. Had there been, skyblue-ish? The memory was gone. Two firm taps in the face from An Existing Explanation by E.J.Scrootchenhold had been effectively sobering.
‘Unlike reading the thing,’ Jem stretched out her arms and shook away the nods. Through all of the morning and eighty one pages of the enormous volume she had wrestled, victorious, to arrive at a chapter called The Beginning – a foreword. This was discouraging. However, the Initiate Trials loomed ever nearer, so she steeled her will and stubbornly read on.
